This is the third book I have read from this author and I can definitely say that the editing issues are getting better. There are still typos and misspelled words, but there are way fewer than in some of her other books. I keep coming back to this author because I love her stories and the plots are entertaining. It provides the entertainment needed for a low price tag! Anyways, getting back to the story.... this is the story of Quincy and Abby. Quincy was a man who lived and loved the life of a rancher. When he was called for the reserves to go to war, his wife decided to divorce him and sell his family ranch that he so much loved. Quincy was on a mission, he wanted to buy his ranch back. Abby bought the ranch and she loved everything about it: the land, the animals, but she wanted to provide people with an opportunity to experience being in a ranch, like her own childhood. Quincy is completely disappointed with the direction his old ranch was taking and wanted to make sure Abby failed so she would eventually sell it back to him. He manages to get a job at the ranch, for free to "help" her or sabotage her.Abby had become an independent woman ever since her marriage failed. She was determined to make it on her own with no one's help, but when this gorgeous cowboy offers to help for free, she is skeptical. However, circumstances force her to hire him and many things happen. This is a "don't judge a book by its cover" type of story. Very romantic and cute. There isn't any steamy scenes, yet the story worked really well and felt very romantic. Despite the editing issues, it was an enjoyable book!

I really like her books. A nice romance that keeps you on edge & wanting to keep reading to see what happens. I think just about all of her books are good. I have down loaded quite a few. Hope you enjoy the book.
I like how Abby didn't give up on her dream. I didn't like Quincy at first cause he wanted to see Abby fail so he can get his ranch back. I loved how Abby didn't give up on what she wanted. This story was okay to read, I read other books by this author that was better.
This was a good page Turner. Lots of things going but not until love was not the word then. Lots of things had to fall in place and all was right in Paradise. Love never fails.
There is nothing like a good cowboy romance. This cowboy returns home, after war, to discover his ranch is now a resort and the owner is a young thing that is very tempting. Cute story, good romance, very entertaining. I really liked it and recommend it. No bad guys, no wild adventure, just 2 people. Just the way I like it.
His ex-wife sold his family's land and home while he was overseas and divorced him without his knowledge. When he comes home he is determined to get the family land back only to find out that it has been turned into a resort of sorts. He soon realizes that the new owner has formed some real attachments to the land also and he doesn't think getting her to let go will be easy but he plans to give it his best shot.
The story of Quincy and Abby, "Trouble in Paradise" is more than just a love story. It is about learning to love yourself. But, don't think that this is all about ego or just another sappy love story.
With Quincy and Abby both very strong characters, the story also related how they dealt with their disappointments while also reinventing themselves. A great read overall!
So, why did I give it only 4 stars and not five stars. It's because for a established and veteran writer, there were just too many typos that they became jarring at times.
If you can gloss over the typos, then this is a great book to lose yourself into for a few hours.
In Kansas??? Wow! When a rancher comes back from serving in the Middle East, he goes to the only place he can think of, his ranch. While he was serving, his wife divorced him, AND SOLD HIS RANCH!!! He got the divorce announcement in the middle of the Middle Eastern desert and the beating sun! It showed that not only his wife was calling it quits, but she also sold HIS ranch and gave him half of the money that she got from the selling of the ranch! When the rancher arrives at his ranch, he thought everything would be normal, but it was everything but normal! Not in a chaotic way, but a sort of a LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT way! He laid his eyes on the new owner of the ranch, and he knew that he had to have her! Read on to find out what happens next in this once again supremely great book in the "Paradise" series by Carol Grace!
