Excellent work
I wasn't able to put this book down. It kept me needing to know what was going to happen next. It also makes you reflect on what could happen in our great country.
I enjoyed this novel because it used an all too real scenario to showcase the strength of faith, hope, and love. I am waiting for the sequel because I resonated with several characters. Nancy Bailey did an outstanding job with her first novel.
Very good novel. Nice to have a book with some drama and intrigue that you can recommend to friends. I enjoyed the family centered aspect of the tale and found the references to prayer and God refreshing.
This amazing book captures the readers attention from the beginning. The story line is realistic because of the times we live in. The characters are so well draw that you relate to them and the life and death decision they are faced with. Would recommended this book as a must read for everyone.

This book was sent to a prisoner. He in turn sent a message that he really enjoyed it. The book has been passed to several others, and is now in several prisons. Everyone who has read it in these facilities has not been able to put it down. They enjoyed the plot, intrigue, tension, suspense, and how the family had to work to together to survive. Some were touched by the need to depend on a deep faith.
