Slade is a playboy, plain and simple he sleeps around with everyone and feels no remorse the next day, he is a love em and leave em kind of guy, that is until he hears her beautiful voice. Sam calls to find out where Jax is and he just happens to be at Slade's house. Then when Sam goes out on the town with her friends, she excuses herself to go and use the ladies room, and when she comes out of the stall she finds Slade and another woman in a compromising situation. Sam doesn't know who he is, Slade doesn't know who she is. He sees her and the first thing he thinks is she is an Angel. And he wants her. She sees him and the first thing she thinks is I want him.
Out of the bathroom and getting ready to both make their move, someone talks to them right before they are going to kiss, and introduces them and that is where it all changes. I loved this book, Slade was such an amazing main Character, and it was so amazing to watch him turn into the man that he was suppose to be all along, it just took a good woman to bring it out of him. he is dominant, and sweet. He loves with his whole heart and then some, he gives Angel 100% of his Body, his heart, and his soul. He gives her whatever she needs, even when she thinks that she doesn't need it.
Sam/Angel I loved her as soon as she was introduced, I loved her feistiness and how she wanted to always do everything on her own. She didn't want anyone dictating how she should or would live her life. I wanted to ring her neck a couple of times, and say to her What is wrong with you? But I honestly understood why she was the way she was. And she had been hurt so many times, and had been left by the people who are suppose to never leave you. So she was damaged, her heart was not whole. So she did the only thing she knew how to survive and that was to put up walls to protect herself so nobody could get it and hurt her.
I cannot wait to read the next book in this Series, I know with the way these two light up the pages and how stubborn that they both are that I am going to be in for the ride of my life.
Thank you Shantel for a beautiful story, about love and life, and what happens when life gives you what you don't deserve, but you fight back and get what you should have had all along. <3

This book is exactly what the title says, Undescribable. Those are the feelings that I had while reading. I could not wrap my head around what I was feeling, because the feelings were that strong and crazy. This book is about overcoming your past relationships, both personal and in love and learning to move on past them. No matter what the situation was, you need to pick up your head and heart and keep moving, because what is around the corner may very well be what helps you to move on and love again.
“What you have been through is undescribable.” I place my fingers under her chin, pulling her face up so I can see into those beautiful green eyes. “Don’t be sorry, Angel. I would have waited a lifetime to hear you say that to me. I’m not going to leave you, Angel. You are my forever, and I’m never going to let you go.”
Samantha left her childhood and her mother behind after her father passed away and gave her all of his stocks and money. She went to college in Texas and that is where she met Jackson. They have been together since her Freshman year and 8 months ago, they picked up and moved to another state for a job Jackson took. Samantha always being the person who puts others before herself, she went with no questions.
Jackson has been pulling away from Samantha more and more. He is always hanging out with his friends at night and not wanting her around. Micah is Samantha’s best friend Holly’s Boyfriend, and just so happens to be the brother of the man whose house Jackson is at tonight partying. So Micah gives Samantha his brother Slades number and tells her to call him to look for Jackson since he is not answering his phone.
All it took was one phone call from Samantha to Slade that night when she was looking for her boyfriend, to have him wanting to know who she is. He can not get her voice out of his head. It is like since the night she called, she has consumed his thoughts and actions and that has never happened to him before. He needs to know if she looks as amazing as she sounds.
When Samantha walks in on Jackson cheating with someone else, she realizes that all along she should have just been listening to her gut and her friends and let him go. She moves out and into a house of her own and is settling into the routine of things when Holly invites her out to the bar one night. She has no idea that her whole life is about to change when she finally comes face to face with Slade.
When these two finally come face to face it is as steamy and sexy as you would think it was going to be. Samantha walks out to wash her hands in the bathroom to Slade getting ready to have sex with a female. She has no idea who he is, because he is the most sexiest man she has seen and for some reason she knows she needs to look away from the scene unfolding in front of her, but she can’t. Finally getting her wits about herself, she leaves the bathroom and is hoping to not see the stranger again, or maybe she does…..
I love how Samantha is finally able to break this Alpha male named Slade down. She makes him learn what it means to love someone unconditionally. She teaches him how to drop his defenses and become carefree in life. She shows him what a real woman is supposed to do to keep the man she wants coming back for more and even settling down with her.
Slades mom has known Samantha for some time now and has been trying to tell her that she needs to meet her son Slade. That she can possibly be the woman who makes him turn a new leaf. If someone would have told Samantha that she was going to jump right into a relationship with someone else when she left Jackson. she would have laughed at them. But it really did happen. She jumped right in, feet first with Slade and has not looked back since.
Out of the blue, Samantha’s mom calls her, after not speaking to her for years and asks her to come back home to see her. Being the giving and caring person Samantha is, she goes. What she learns once she gets there is a whole new story and Slade is there right beside her to help her pick up the pieces.
These two are put through many situations that test not only their trust for one another, but their bond of love and friendship as well. I love that Samantha does not sit back and let Slade take control of things. She is an independant woman who can do for herself like she always has.
He sighs and wipes the tears from my face. He places his forehead on mine and closes his eyes. “I’m sorry your heart is broken, Angel. I wish I could make it whole. I wish I was the one who could take all the pain away.” “You do,” I whisper as I look at his pained face so close to mine. “Don’t you see? You do.” I pull my head away from his. “You make me feel better. You make me feel something I have never known, and that’s what gets me through the day, Slade.”
This is a story of two people interconnected but never met until one night on the phone. When Samantha calls Slade looking for her boyfriend, he is instantly hooked but he lies to her during that phone call. Samantha thigh gets the surprise of her life the next day when she comes home to find her boyfriend in a compromising situation. She is hurt and sometime later she finally meets the man behind the voice and he is a force to be reckoned with. Slade pursues Samantha and they go on this whirlwind filled with lust, intensity and haunting pasts. Samantha finds out secrets within the family and reunites with her mother unbeknownst that there are more secrets to be revealed. I love Slade he is possessive, handsome, alpha, intense and protective. Samantha is a drama queen and sometimes her over thinking and being extra just didn't do it for me. I love all the secondary characters. It's a great story and start to the series.
